I guess they called it "double header" for booking reasons, since nine matches in three hours are one show, not two!
But the booking was really good, and since I don't understand the idea of "drive for three hours, wrestle for three minutes" anyway, it was good to see so many girls doing double duty.
I was surprised to see Shelly Martinez and Angelina Love in the opener. (I thought I'm the only one who didn't care for it at all.)
Jessie Kaye, whom I mainly knew from pictures (without realizing she's such a powerhouse) needs a different music, but looked impressive against Sumie Sakai.
The new commissioner insulted Missy Sampson, but brought her closer to a title shot in the process.
Meanwhile Amber Rodriguez proved her heel qualities, at least on the mic.
We didn't see much from Jennifer Cruz (what's a pity, since I'm a fan of her) as Missy and Annie made quick work. Amber Rodriguez then proved her heel qualities again, by attacking her partner after the match.
Belmont vs Lexxus was good.
As expected, La Rosa Negra vs Cheerleader Melissa was Match Of The Night. (Showing it at the end made sense, somehow, but the lost feed sucked.)
Where was Alicia? Some explanation would have been fine.
So Lexxus beat Annie Social instead, not bad.
Belmont vs Veda saw two babyfaces, so Rodriguez, Kaye and Lexxus decided to beat them up. Jennifer Cruz made the save. Hopefully this leads to some interesting matches with these six talented ladies.
Chasity Taylor is no wrestler yet, trust Amber O'Neal! The boys did most of the match.
Finally Missy Sampson got her title shot, but fell short again. But this role as a "people's champion" fit's her well and I guess we will see more from her in the next shows.
This was a really interesting show that made me stay up all night to watch the iPPV live.
I believe two other talents will be making their debut there also.....
Don't miss
CHERRY LAYNE and
NYLA ROSE!!
Don't believe everything you hear!
